"As we are flatmates, we decided simultaneously to use a personal trainer to get in shape just before the summer. We met with Luke based on a recommendation of one of our friends, who was already training with him.
We gave Luke the tough task of getting us in shape in two months. We had both not been to the gym in quite a few years, so we figured it would be a bit of a stretch. Not with Luke though.
Luke started us off with an assessment session and performed a fat test. While this may not be something you’d like to hear, it’s a great way to get motivation going. He also put us on a strict food plan for the first two weeks to maximise fat burning and lean muscle building. The nice thing about Luke’s sessions was that they are tailored to the individual’s goals, and these were completely different for both of us.
Not only is Luke a great guy, as a trainer, he is also extremely good. He tailors training to the individual and provides plenty of variety, he is very professional, motivational and tough when required, just to make sure you get the best value out of each of your sessions (even if that means you will be somewhat stiff the next day). He is also happy to give you pointers for your own personal workout sessions, discusses the best foods to eat and those to avoid, and is very approachable with any questions at any time.
We highly recommend Luke as a personal trainer, you will definitely get your money’s worth!"

"Prior to working with Luke I would struggle to reduce and sustain my weight and fitness. I would have good intentions but would plateau after a couple of months. However, Luke pushes and motivates me without making me feel uncomfortable. The exercises are always varied so making the workout more interesting which for someone, like me, who hates going to the gym is a definite plus."
